35......

Hard to believe, but I turned 35 today. That sounds incredibly old for some reason. I guess I don't have a problem admitting it though as I feel like I am at my best...physically, emotionally, career, motherhood, relationships...things have never been better (knock on wood). 35 is good....now if I could only just stay here =).
I had a good birthday. Woke up to a poster in the kitchen that Tonya and Bella made wishing me a happy birthday as well as cookies and an i-tunes gift card. Worked a bit...got a dozen roses and a lovely card that made me smile along with them. Being that it was Wednesday, I had a half day off. So I decided to go shopping in honor of my birthday. And shop I did. I decided to stop being cheap for a day (hopefully I won't regret it). I also decided somewhere in the shopping trip that a 35 year old woman shouldn't have a bedroom that looks like a college dormroom and so my remodeling project begins. I bought a few things and am in the thinking stages of buying some more. I'm about to go take some before pictures and hopefully in a week or two will have some afters....we'll see how that goes. I even bought paint this evening after a lovely dinner with my children. I'll leave you with a photo of the girls trying on their dominican spoils and showing me their muscles. I'll have a new layout to show tomorrow...it is for the scrapfaith site.

Who do you look like?

Inspired by the great Emilie I too tried to find out the celebrities my family most looks like. It never fails....if someone comes up to me and says "now who do you look like?" I will always hear either one of these two names...so I was not surprised when these two faces popped up. Also popping up on both of these photos was Freddie Prinz Jr...not sure what to think of that one =). Also did the girls....I think Emma is a little too young for it, she didn't pop up with too many options. Anyway, have a lovely day.

It was lovely....hot, sunny, beautiful. Had an absolutely wonderful time. Didn't take a ton of pictures as I didn't really do anything other than sit on the beach =). More later, have a great day.

Bella's Birthday book

Here is Bella's finished birthday book...nothing exciting at all, but finished, so that is good. I got a little frustrated with the whole board book concept with a set number of pages...kind of decreases the flexibility of the whole thing...like the ringed ones better. Anyway...enjoy. don't know much

Hello....just thought I'd drop by and say hi. Don't really have too much to talk about today. Haven't taken any pictures lately. Scrapped a few things this weekend, but nothing I felt was worth the effort of putting on here. I'm working on a little book from Bella's birthday. Not feeling it...so who knows how long it will take to get done. Had strep throat again this past week. I haven't gotten strep since I was very young until this year...now I've had it 4 times in the past few months. Pleasant. Finally feeling better. Gotta get ready for my vacation that I need VERY VERY badly. Going to the Dominican Republic....very very excited. Anyway...will try to post something more exciting later. adios.

My December Album

As promised, my december album. I started out doing the daily december digital thing, but only made it three days. I then went back to the tried and true old fashioned paper scrapping. There is not a page for each day, but this covers the highlights of the month. Hope you all enjoy it!

Just wanted to wish you all a very happy Christmas. Here is my Christmas card this year...many of you may have received an actual one in the mail, but for those that didn't I'm sorry...either I don't know you or I ran out =). Anyway, this is my first attempt at making somthing digital without a template of some sort. I think it turned out reasonalbly well...of course the two adorable children in the picture don't hurt.
